Steps of constructing SWOT analysis

SWOT analysis is conducted through four key processes; each step must be taken and realistic objective questions must be asked to enable the individual or organization to examine themselves and then evaluate the situation. These steps are:

1- Develop a precise description of strengths

This will be a decisive and important factor in acknowledging the abilities and capabilities possessed by a person or business and will provide confidence when applying for employment, getting an award or higher employment for individuals, or realizing the abilities of the company that make it at the forefront of its competitors.

No doubt that when one of them draws up the blueprint for strengths, the person or the organization has accurately included each one of them with the skills and competition abilities that make it possible for each of them to prevail over the competition before they can compete, so it is easy for either of them to remember this later and to benefit from every skill.

There are a number of questions a person has to ask to analyze a personality and to determine its strengths and advantages:

  1. What are his most prominent qualifications and certificates that have distinguished him over his peers and he could advance over them?
  2. Do you have cumulative experience in your field which will distinguish you in your field or your specialty?
  3. From which training courses did you attend and obtain a diploma with your skills in the field of your work?
  4. What are your most prominent projects, works or technologies, and which have achieved superior skills that have distinguished you on the market or in your field of labor from your fellow competitors?
  5. What is your social interaction nature? And how powerful is it? This can be more helpful in certain fields, such as insurance, shopping and advertising work.
  6. What do you distinguish and make a difference between you and your closest competitors who have skills like you such as work dedication, skill, good leadership, and more…
  7. Excellence in strengths is important and necessary, and excellence should not stop at a university level, all applicants will surely be equally important, but other achievements and features that make the difference must be fulfilled..

2- Develop a blueprint for weaknesses

Through SWOT analysis, weakness determinants must be identified to eliminate them and develop and improve for themselves. This helps you prepare to answer questions and confront them when they appear or even take advantage of during the evaluation of performance. When you fill in the analysis form, the person must ask himself these questions:

  1. What skills do you lack in your field of work?
  2. What are the negative habits you have? How late for work? Small communication skills, reduced efficiency, or lost time at work.
  3. What other qualities can be developed more efficiently and efficiently than before?
  4. What weaknesses have customers encountered? How can you enhance it?

3- Search for appropriate opportunities

  1. What is the news about competitors in terms of work performance?

  3. Do personal qualities affect performance and performance at work significantly, in particular negative influences?
